Step-by-step plan for importing
Purchase
You can handle the purchasing process yourself or outsource it entirely. For packages II and III, we can optionally handle the pre-purchase inspection and price negotiations for you. In addition, for all packages, we check the necessary documentation required for importing, and you'll receive an upfront estimate of the total costs to prevent a bad purchase.
Transportation
Insured transport on a trailer throughout Germany (optionally also available from other European countries). Avoid stress and unnecessary risks by driving your car to the Netherlands with only third-party liability insurance on yellow German "5-day short-term vehicle identification" vehicles illegal in the Netherlands.
RDW
After the car arrives in the Netherlands, we'll have it inspected at an RDW inspection station and registered. To save time, we can complete this inspection within a day, and we carefully check all documentation beforehand.
Customs
Please note: don't overpay BPM! We'll handle your tax return for you according to the lowest BPM regime. We'll also handle customs clearance and pay your BPM as you wish.
Accessories
Waiting for a Dutch license plate takes at least 6 business days. This time can be ideally used for installing an alarm system, audio upgrade, radar detector, car wrap, professional polishing/detailing, or installing a different set of original wheels.
Road worthy
Your new car will be delivered neatly and professionally, including a Dutch license plate (with luxury lettering). With Package II and Package III, the car will be delivered to your home or office with full service.
